Getting Start
How does SerbeyShop work?
SerbeyShop is an online store, we do not have any physical store. We order fulfillment method where items are printed as soon as an order is made and in SerbeyShop’s case-without order minimums.
Traditional retailers produce items before putting them up for sale, so they’re always manufactured in bulk to save money. In contrast, SerbeyShop only makes products when an order is placed, limiting our stock to items that already have a buyer.
Packaging
Here is the info that gets included on each packaging slip:
The products included in the order - If an order is split into two shipments (because it contains products that are packaged differently), there will be a note on the packaging slip.
The return address - By default, we use SerbeyShop's address as the return address.
A personalized message (optional) - You can add a personalized message to your packaging slips.
SerbeyShop's logo - A SerbeyShop's logo design on the corner of the packaging slip.
Apparel
Apparel products are generally packaged in post-consumer recycled (PCR) polymer mailers. If there’s more than one product, after putting each item in its own separate transparent polymer bag, we then place them all together in a PCR polymer mailer.
PCR plastics are made from items people recycle every day, like plastic bags and bottles. Most of our PCR plastics are made from shopping bags and wrapping films.
The amount of PCR in the packaging differs for each fulfillment location, but it’s at least 50% for the outside (white or grey) poly mailer bags and at least 30% for the inside (clear) bags used in multi-item shipments.
We’re starting to gradually switch to 90%–100% PCR plastic packaging for apparel products in our in-house facilities all over North America. Learn more about the new improved packaging over here.
For all DTG apparel orders fulfilled in Australia, we use compostable eco mailers. These mailers have the supplier’s name and composting instructions on them.
Apparel orders in the Japanese partner facility are packaged in plastic mailers.
Hats
Structured and unstructured hats are packaged in corrugated cardboard boxes. Beanies are packed in post-consumer recycled (PCR) polymer mailers just like other apparel items.
Accessories
In our in-house facilities, we use kraft mailers to pack phone cases. Our partners in Japan use a mix of plastic bags and padded paper envelopes to package phone cases.
Home & living
Most sublimated items go in post-consumer recycled (PCR) polymer mailers. Mugs and water bottles are packaged in cardboard boxes.
Wall art
Posters are shipped in triangular kraft boxes to ensure safe delivery and avoid using plastic caps. In several locations, we use stay-flat envelopes for posters in size 8 × 10 in. Orders fulfilled in Australia are packaged in cylinder cardboard tubes.
Yes, you can set up pack-ins and custom packaging to go in orders with specific products. Get an idea of our special packaging.
Depending on the product type and fulfillment location, your products are packaged in post-consumer-recycled (PCR) plastic mailers, kraft mailers, or cardboard boxes.
Our PCR plastic mailers are made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE), categorized as number 4-coded plastic. This material is recyclable, but number 4-coded plastic doesn’t usually belong in an everyday recycling bin. Typically, it has to be recycled at designated drop-off points.
We suggest contacting your local waste management service provider and asking for instructions on sorting 4-coded plastic.
Kraft mailers and cardboard boxes are also recyclable and can be sorted in the paper recycling bins.
Remember!
It’s always good practice to research what kind of materials belong in your recycling bins. If you recycle the wrong material, it can contaminate the entire batch.
We know sustainable packaging is important to our customers, and we’re committed to finding the most sustainable solutions we can.
We’ve started using packaging made of post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics for all apparel orders shipped from our in-house facilities.
The share of recycled plastic per bag depends on each facility, but it’s at least 50% for the outside (white or grey) packaging and at least 30% for the inside (clear) bags that are used in multi-item shipments.
We’re starting to gradually switch to 90%–100% PCR plastic packaging for apparel products in our in-house facilities all over North America. Learn more about the new improved packaging over here.
PCR packaging protects the products just as well as the virgin plastic bags, and they look almost the same. However, choosing PCR plastic over virgin plastic is the right thing to do to minimize the environmental impact plastic has on our planet.
We’re continuously working on becoming more sustainable, and we’ll keep exploring greener packaging options in the future.
Yes, you can add your own message (and logo, if you choose) that will be added to each packing slip. We can print a black-and-white design on the corner of the packing slip.
No price is ever displayed on your packing slip. For international orders, retail prices are shown on the outside of the package due to shipping regulations.
Fulfillment
Fulfillment time is the time it takes to make your custom-ordered product. Our fulfillment time is calculated in business days, and it’s 2–5 business days for all production techniques.
97.66% of our orders are shipped within 5 business days. More than 50% of our orders are shipped within 3 business days or fewer.
Please note:
Fulfillment time doesn't include shipping. To get an idea of how long an order will take to reach its destination, combine the estimated fulfillment time with the estimated shipping time.
The fulfillment averages you see in our catalog are calculated based on our fulfillment data for each product within the time frame of 30 days.
Our fulfillment averages don't account for the time an order might be put on hold.
Fulfillment for large orders may take longer on average, but it’ll still be fulfilled within 5 business days.
Our fulfillment times are an estimate, but not a guarantee.
We try to fulfill products in the order that they come in, and usually, we're able to do that. To manage our order queue, we route orders to whichever facility has more capacity. Fulfillment order depends on the product and where it's routed to, so newer orders might get fulfilled faster if they're routed to another facility.
As an example, let's say you have two t-shirt orders. The older order might include a t-shirt that's only be able to be fulfilled at our NC facility, so it's waiting in line. The newer order is a shirt that we can fulfill at a backup facility, so we might route that order and it gets fulfilled faster.
SerbeyShop has fulfillment centers in Spain, Latvia, and the UK.
Spain
The Barcelona fulfillment center is located in Travessía Prat de la Riba, 91-95, and serves the Western European market.
Latvia
We have two fulfillment centers close to the Riga International Airport and our shipping partners.
Facility 1: This fulfillment center is located in Lidostas parks, Marupes novads, LV-2167, and it's where we fulfill apparel products and offer warehousing services for pack-ins. This facility also serves as a pickup point.
Facility 2: This fulfillment center is located in Plienciema iela 5, Marupe, Marupes novads, LV-2167. It's where we fulfill non-apparel products and offer warehousing services for products and pack-ins.
The UK
The Birmingham fulfillment center is located in the Antar 2 facility on Wobaston Road, Wolverhampton, WV10 6PZ. This fulfillment center primarily serves customers in the UK.
No, it's not possible to choose a specific fulfillment center for your orders. Picking the best fulfillment center for your orders allows us to ensure that the shipping process runs smoothly for you and your customers as we continue to grow.
We route orders using an advanced algorithm, taking into account the end customer's address, where the product is available, and other factors. 99% of the time, the algorithm chooses the closest fulfillment center to your end customer, but rarely—usually if a product is unavailable—it will be routed to another location.
Not all of the apparel brands we offer are available for fulfillment at our Europe location. That's because not all of our brands are carried or reliably stocked by European suppliers. Being selective in the brands we offer will limit late orders due to unreliable stock.
Terms
Intellectual Property Rights
Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions; literary and artistic works; designs; and symbols, names and images.
IP is protected in law by, for example, patents, copyright and trademarks, which enable people to earn recognition or financial benefit from what they invent or create.
Fabric Affect
DTG printing process is best suited for garments that are 100% cotton. So if you’re looking for the most opaque result, 100% cotton is your best bet. This fabric generally has a better result due to its tight weave.
However, there are exceptions to this. If a cotton is too thick, it can absorb more of the ink and result in a faded look (for example, the Gildan 5000 is a thicker cotton).
We also offer printing on poly blends and tri-blends. Our fulfillment team has worked hard to develop a system that allowed us to print on such garments without compromising print quality. Due to the looser weave and combination of fabrics, these garments will have a faded/vintage outcome with DTG printing. This is a pretty cool effect, but may not be ideal for you if you want a more opaque outcome.
When unpacking a new shirt or hoodie with a direct-to-garment (DTG) print, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue. Don't worry, that's not unusual - it's from a fixation agent applied during the printing process and it's not permanent.
Fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) is used for all DTG prints across the industry. It helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment.
The solution is simply to wash the garment! Neither the residue nor the smell is permanent and both should go away after one wash. If the discoloration is noticeable, the quality control team will include a card explaining that it's from the fixation agent. Here's how it looks:
There aren't many things our incredible DTG process can't achieve! However, when choosing the colors for your artwork, it’s important to note that they may look different on a real product than what you see on your computer monitor. Even if you have calibrated your monitor to a specific color profile, there are various factors that influence the final appearance of colors on a printed product.
Because of this, we can’t guarantee color accuracy 100%. Consider the following factors:
When printing on garments, it’s important to consider fabric material and garment color. The same color value will look a little different on when printed on 100% cotton vs. a fabric blend. Similarly, the same color value will look different when printed on a light vs. dark colored garment.
We also print a white under base layer beneath prints on colored garments so that the colors look vibrant and stand out from the fabric. The same color value on one garment can look different when printed with vs. without a white under base. We've taken some photos where you can see how the same color values look different when printed on a white or black garment. Keep in mind that even the colors in these photos look different than on the original printed product. Referencing these photos is not a substitution for ordering color swatches on a sample product.
All-over printing or sublimation is a printing process where your design is printed on paper with dye ink and then transferred directly onto the fabric with heat. Sublimation lets you cover all of the garment with your design instead of, for example, DTG printing that has a smaller area to work with.
Due to the peculiarities of the sublimation process, graphics may shift up to 2 inches when printed. Because of this, we don't recommend using designs that require precise placement.
SerbeyShop carries two types of products that are printed using sublimation:
Sublimated products. These products are pre-made, so your designs are transferred on a ready-made product. Sublimated products, might show white streaks and creasing that are most common near stitching (for example, the sides of a towel).
All-over print products (also referred to as cut & sew products). In this case, your designs are printed on fabric, which then gets cut and hand-sewn into the product you ordered. These products don't have white streaks.

Yes, inside and outside labels are $2.49 per shirt! For either type, the maximum print area is 3x3 inches. Check out examples of custom inside and outside labels in this branding guide. Inside labels are available for select apparel products with a removable "tear-away" label.
Outside labels are available for all other brand t-shirts (except racerbacks) that don't have a removable "tear away" label.
Our standard process is the Direct to Garment (DTG) method of printing. That means we can create photo-quality prints, the amount of colors used doesn't affect pricing, and there aren't any order minimums. We use Kornit printers for all DTG-printed garments.
The white underbase is always applied when the design is:
Colorful
White or has white elements
Entirely black and will be printed on a black or very dark gray garment
Note: White Fleck Triblend and Ash colors aren’t 100% white and an underbase may be used on these if the design contains white elements.

To verify material content, we collect valid certificates from our suppliers. As proof of the organic composition of the apparel products, we only accept GOTS or OCS certificates.
We only accept the Ecocert COSMOS certificate as proof of the beauty product’s natural origin.
GLOBAL ORGANIC TEXTILE STANDARD (GOTS)
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent third-party certification of the entire textile supply chain. This standard also sets limitations on other fibers that can be blended with organic fibers.
Organic Content Standard (OCS)
The Organic Content Standard (OCS) is a certification for non-food goods that confirms the organic material presence in the final product. It also follows the supply chain from its source to the final product.
Ecocert COSMOS
Ecocert COSMOS standard ensures ingredients are derived only from natural origin except for a limited ingredients list authorized in small quantities. On average, Ecocert-certified products contain 99% ingredients of natural origin.
Ecocert standard verifies the composition, processing, and packaging of the product.
The certification ensures an environmentally friendly and safe product that’s made with consideration of biodiversity and the preservation of natural resources. This certification includes other factors like the absence of GMO and petrochemical ingredients (parabens, phenoxyethanol, perfumes, and synthetic colorants).
OEKO-TEX® certification is one of the world’s leading labels for textile safety, and it proves that the certified products are free from hazardous chemicals. We’ve listed the label in the product description of the products that hold this certification. We also use OEKO-TEX® certified inks and thread for embroidery designs.
Around 81% of SerbeyShop orders are delivered within the same region they’re fulfilled in. Having fulfillment centers close to our customers is good for both the business and the planet. Strategically located fulfillment centers allow for faster shipping times and lower shipping costs, and it also helps with reducing CO₂ emissions produced when transporting orders.
Products available in the same region are shipped together whenever possible. This helps our customers save money and is much better for the environment.
Our stock:
Traditional retailers produce items before putting them up for sale, so they’re always manufactured in bulk to save money. In contrast, SerbeyShop only makes products when an order is placed, limiting our stock to items that already have a buyer.
This lets us avoid the overproduction that is widespread in the rest of the industry. Unsold stock is usually thrown out or burned, with fashion retailers alone wasting 92 million tons of textile each year. In POD, waste mainly comes from items damaged during printing, and SerbeyShop’s rate of damages is consistent with the industry standard. We also keep our reshipment rate low by taking all orders through a 3-step quality check before we ship them out.
Our fulfillment:
Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing is more sustainable than other more outdated apparel printing methods, such as screen printing. Not only does screen printing use a lot of water and plastisol inks that don’t biodegrade, but it’s also generally used for bulk orders, which leads to overproduction. In comparison, DTG printing is more eco-friendly because items get printed only when they’re ordered, and this method can be used for single-item printing.
Shipping
You can also sign up for email tracking notifications to receive updates as soon as we have news about your shipment. So to stay informed about shipment progress, you need to add email to the tracking page.
SerbeyShop’s estimated delivery time (EDT) is our delivery time prediction. We follow a simple equation to calculate EDT:
estimated fulfillment + estimated shipping = estimated delivery time
Our average order fulfillment takes 2–5 business days for all production techniques.
We consider the current order volume and our fulfillment capacity when calculating our estimated fulfillment time. Similarly, we calculate estimated shipping time according to our historical shipping data for deliveries to your area or selling region.
Some of our products come individually packaged to protect their shape and provide extra durability. If produced locally products are added to the same order, they are shipped separately. Here are the products we may ship separately:
personalizable
snapback hats, trucker hats, dad hats/baseball caps, and visors
mugs
pillows with stuffing
posters
water bottles
blankets
In some cases, we may fulfill products from the same order in different facilities, which means they’ll be shipped separately.
We partner with carriers like USPS, FedEx, DPD and DHL to give the best possible shipping experience.
Due to the individual packaging, shipping companies do not offer a discount on shipping fees for these products.
Shipping companies charge us different rates for product groups, for example, they charge us much more for water bottles.
We do not apply the rates of the shipping companies to save money. We keep our shipping fees the same.
For this or other reasons, there is no difference in the shipping fees of individually packaged and product groups.
Our shipping fees are fixed and the same for each item.
Yes. Bulk savings of up to 55% start at 25 items.
Shipping is free for bulk purchases.
Contact us before your order for bulk purchase discounts.
If you entered the wrong address at checkout, you can still change it while we fulfill your order. Once your order is out for delivery, we can’t guarantee the possibility of changing any information. Once your order is out for delivery, the change of address depends on the shipping company. Therefore, you can contact the shipping company.
In some cases, the local post can still make the delivery depending on the recipient address error. If they can’t deliver your shipment, they’ll send it back to our facility. Then you’ll need to confirm for reshipping the your order within 30 days. Be aware that you have to pay the same as your first deliver of shipping price again (you have to pay higher than the first deliver of shipping price again for the possibilities individual packaging or products groups) within 30 days.
Once your order is ready to go, we hand it over to the carrier and send you email with a tracking number. You can click on that number to see the latest updates on your shipment’s location via our tracking page.
You can also subscribe to our email notifications to receive live updates about their shipments.
When an order is out for delivery, updates on its status will depend on the carrier service. If you encounter any issues, you can contact us, and we’ll do our best to help you.
Keep in mind that you need to apply these changes while we’re fulfilling your order. Later it won’t be possible to change the shipping method.
We have one pickup point in our Lidostas Parks fulfillment center (Riga, Latvia). There you can pick up your products directly from us without postage costs or waiting around for deliveries. All you have to do is select HQ Pickup when choosing a shipping method for your order.
Typically only national postal operators (like the US Postal Service or Canada Post) are able to deliver orders to PO Boxes. Many of our products including framed posters and bulkier shipments are too large to be accepted by national postal operators, so we use commercial companies (like FedEx) to deliver these products that cannot deliver to PO Boxes. We suggest you use a physical address instead of a PO Box address to ensure smooth delivery.
